On step 2 I prefer to layer the pasta and cheeses in the casserole dish instead of all the cheese sitting on top.


1 pkg fresh tortellini (cheese filled)
1 jar pasta sauce
1/2 lb ground beef
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. While pasta is cooking, brown ground beef. Add pasta sauce to cooked beef and heat through. Drain cooked tortellini and return to pot. Add meat sauce to pasta in pot and stir.

2. Pour pasta and sauce mixture into a casserole dish. Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.

3. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, until sauce is bubbly. Broil to brown cheese if necessary.

4. Let stand several minutes before serving.
